Curriculum System
The SCIC curriculum is based on the standard of “Common European Framework of Reference for Languages” (CEFR). On the premise of refining the requirements of International English language test (IELTS / TOEFL), combined with the reality that local students' English level is relatively weak, the grading system of the curriculum is established with reference to CEFR language grading. “The Common Reference Framework for European Languages: Learning, Teaching and Evaluation” is the overall guidelines and action programme on language learning, teaching and evaluation formulated by the European Council. At present, the standard has been implemented in more than 40 educational courses for second language learning, including English and Chinese. There are six levels of CEFR from low to high, namely A1, A2, B1, B2, C1 and C2, including three "+" levels in the transition stage, namely A2 +, B1 + and B2 +. Since 2013, the corresponding CEFR level will be marked on the IELTS transcript according to the total score.
